Rose Kreider is a Los Angeles based mezzo-soprano pursuing a career in operatic performance. Miss Kreider has performed roles including the Turnspit (Rusalka), Dorabella (Così fan tutte), and Jennie Hildebrand (Street Scene), as well as singing as a soloist in oratorio repertoire such as Mozart’s Requiem in D minor. She sings in the choir at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Thousand Oaks, CA, where she is the alto section leader. She is currently a student of Diane Ketchie at CalState Northridge, where she is a Bachelor of Music degree candidate in Vocal Performance. She previously earned an Associate of Arts degree in Music from El Camino College, where she studied with soprano Erin Wood.
Rose's classical training also translates well to those pursuing contemportary and pop styles of singing. She can help provide the fundamentals of good vocal health and training and translate this into a variety of singing styles, following the pursuits and goals of the student.
