Payment Information: Your credit card will not be charged until 2 days after your first lesson. Following your initial lesson, if you wish to be charged for a single lesson rather than the discounted monthly rate, please email [email protected] within 48 hours of your first lesson. Should we not receive your email within this timeframe, we will reserve your spot with the teacher, and payment will be required to cover the first lesson and the remaining weekly lessons for that month. Please note that there is a $35 registration fee charged at the time of registration.

You have the option to change your lesson type or adjust the length of your lesson at the beginning of the upcoming month.

Payment Policy:

• Maintaining a Valid Credit Card: As an ongoing student, it is your responsibility to keep a valid credit card on file for monthly tuition, charged on the 1st of each month. If a valid card is not on file, a non-auto-pay charge of $20 above the standard autopay rate will apply. Keeping your payment information updated is greatly appreciated.
• Discontinuing Lessons: To discontinue lessons, we require a 14-day advance notice emailed to [email protected]. You may also text or call the office at 818 618-4034. Please note, notifying your instructor is not sufficient - you must contact our office directly. Once the notice is received, no further charges will be made to your account.
• Refunds for Overcharges: If you notice an overcharge due to an error, please notify us immediately. Refunds will only be issued for overcharges reported within 90 days of the transaction.
• Account Monitoring: We strongly encourage all clients to review their monthly statements regularly to ensure accuracy and avoid discrepancies.

We offer lessons seven days a week, from 9 AM to 9 PM. To help us schedule your lessons as quickly as possible, please list all the days and times you are available, including your earliest and latest start times, in the space provided below. Incomplete information may delay the scheduling process by 1–2 weeks.

Your lessons will be scheduled during one of the times you provide, so please ensure you are available for all the options you list.

Knauer Music School Policies:

Make-up policy when you are on autopay.

Our make-up policy is designed to optimize convenience for our students and instructors. Your tuition covers four lessons per month. In months with five weeks, the fifth lesson serves as either a make-up opportunity or a complimentary bonus lesson. This provides a student with four make-up opportunities annually. These four make-up sessions fall on the student’s regular weekly day and time, eliminating the need to do any make-up scheduling.

Feel free to use these four make-up lessons whether you gave 24 hours notice or not, though we encourage respecting your instructor's time by giving them notice if you can’t make your lesson. If you haven't missed a lesson when the fifth lesson occurs, you may consider it a complimentary bonus lesson.

Cancelation policy when purchasing individual lessons.

When purchasing individual lessons, and the student cancels, a make-up lesson or refund can not be provided

Holidays: We are open 365 days a year for lessons. In the event of a holiday that is not observed by both you and your teacher, you are welcome to conduct your lesson at one of our stores. If a student is unable to attend a lesson due to a holiday, they can utilize one of the four designated make-up days. These make-up opportunities are conveniently scheduled during the fifth week in months with five weeks.

In cases where the teacher is absent, we may provide you with a substitute, or you and your instructor may schedule a make-up on a different day than your regular lesson or add on extra time to your regular lesson. If we fail to offer a substitute or you and your instructor cannot schedule a make-up, we will issue a refund.

Please note that if a student is 15 minutes late to their lesson without contacting their instructor, the lesson may be considered canceled.

Tuition is designed to reserve the teacher's time and the studio space weekly and is due even if the student cannot attend all their lessons.
