Larissa Melnick

Piano

Larissa grew up in Russia and graduated from Ulyanovsk Music College with a degree in Piano Education and Accompaniment. She has worked as a piano instructor for almost thirty year and throughout those years, she has also worked and volunteered as an accompanist for instrumentalists, vocalists, choirs, church functions and ballet classes. 

Larissa enjoys teaching a variety of styles and can work wonderfully with beginners and students who want to enjoy playing a range of genres, yet can also teach up to the highest levels of classical piano performance.  

For almost two decades her family resided in Alaska, enjoying its beauty, fresh air, wildreness and yes, salmon. After getting their Master's degrees, her daughters decided to pursue their careers in Log Angeles; therefore, encouraging Larissa to relocate to Los Angeles herself. Her hobbies include reading, hiking, watching films and attending cultural events.
