1. Our teachers use methods so both children and adults love their lessons
Each one of our music teachers will treat you with warmth and patience and deeply care about guiding you to learn the music you want to play. From classically trained teachers with doctorate degrees to accomplished Jazz and Hip-Hop teachers, all of our instructors have University training or professional performance experience both nationally and internationally and several of our teachers are recording artists.
We support the goals of each student with encouragement and appropriate pacing of instruction, while providing a broad and deep foundation in all styles of music, as well as sight reading, technique, music theory, improvisation, and composition to the extent that the student finds meaningful. We want our students musical progression to be gratifying to their fullest potential.

We provide the convenience of having several instrumental lessons in one location, Piano, Voice/Singing, guitar, Bass, Violin, Saxophone, Flute, Cello, Drums. Families love the ease of having all their children take their lessons at the same time. Our Tarzana Music School is conveniently located to all cities in the San Fernando Valley, so we can be helpful to students throughout the area.

Selecting the right teacher and environment is an important decision in keeping a student engaged and wanting to learn, so we do a lot of evaluating to pair the right teacher with each student.

We offer quality music lessons 7 days a week from 9 AM to 9 PM, so we can offer you a lesson time that works well for your schedule.
7. Lessons on High Quality Pianos
Our piano students learn to play on high quality acoustic pianos. Feeling the keys move under your fingers on a real piano, while being surrounded by the full, rich tone that a good piano produces, can launch a student to become an accomplished, passionate player. The control and amount of expression one has playing on a quality piano, inspires a player to get the most out of themselves as a performer.
8. Piano Curriculum & Annual Piano Festivals specifically designed to measure and motivate Piano Students through their Studies
We have teachers who are members of the Royal Conservatory, Music Teachers Association of California, National Guild of Piano Teachers, and California Association of Professional Music Teachers. Through these associations we are able to offer students opportunities to participate in the Certificate of Merit Program and or the National guild of Piano Teachers Auditions, as well as curriculum that is of the highest standard.

Enjoy our comfortable waiting room with magazines, creative toys, wi-fi, and bottled water service.
10. Glass Doors on All Studios
We have full glass doors, so you can watch your child's lesson or if you prefer you can sit in on their lesson anytime you would like.
11. Recitals Two Times a Year
Students are invited to participate in two recitals a year to showcase their hard work and talents. We create a warm recital atmosphere, where everyone can feel comfortable being greeted with appreciation. World class pianos are provided for the students to perform their pieces on. Participation in recitals is optional.
12. Expert Staff to Help You
There is a caring office staff to help you 7 days a week. Everyone here wants you to feel welcome and help you with any of your lesson needs.
13. Instrument Sales and Rentals
We rent and sell pianos and digital pianos and we have a great rent to own program. We can help you rent or purchase most other instruments. We also stock the important music books you need.
14. Lessons Offered in Our Schools and In Your Home
We give music lessons in our music schools and your home. Though most of our students take their music lessons at our school locations, many students enjoy that we offer the convenience of music lessons in their home.
15. Two Convenient Locations
We are conveniently located: In Tarzana off the 101 freeway at the Tampa off ramp. We are in the well known Knauer Pianos Store building on the corner of Tampa and Ventura Blvd. We have easy access parking in our building as you enter southbound on Tampa. Our second location is in Agoura Hills off the 101 freeway at Kanan. There is ample parking at the Agoura Hills Music School for your convenience. Both locations are walking distance from cafe's, restaurants, Starbucks and Peet's Coffee.
16. Month to Month Lessons with out a long term commitment
Our Music School does not require semester minimums for lessons. Lessons are offered on a month-to-month basis.

We are a family run music school owned by Ben and Robbie Knauer who are here to help you anytime with your music education.. You can call Ben or Robbie whenever you have questions or to arrange for your lessons.
