Violin

Lainey Elizabeth White is a renowned concert violinist, recording artist, and music teacher based in Los Angeles, California. With a career spanning more than 15 years and her expansive portfolio of musical ability, Lainey specializes in live performance. From the age of nine, she has been performing, recording, and collaborating with countless orchestras, bands, ensembles, studios, solo artists, theatres, and composers ranging in and out of the classical arena. She is classically trained and has worked with several notable orchestras including West Coast Classical, Symphony of the Canyons, and the Santa Clarita Philharmonic where she sat assistant concertmaster and concertmaster for their 2016-2019 performance season. In 2014, she appeared playing violin in a commercial for the Porsche Panamera. In addition to orchestral and classical performance, she is particularly passionate about the Celtic/Irish fiddle and enjoys writing and improvisational collaboration with singer/songwriters in rock, pop, and contemporary genres.

In addition, Lainey is an accomplished music teacher with a thriving studio of talented students of all ages and musical stages. She believes that true proficiency of the instrument is best attained through an in-depth study of classical music as well as incorporation of other genres as an essential element to a student’s unique creative development. She is currently working on obtaining her teaching certification through Suzuki Association of the Americas in order to be fully proficient and certified in teaching all 10 books of the world famous Suzuki Violin School. Above all, Lainey believes in teaching the art and passion for violin playing and has developed a unique curriculum to embrace every student’s individual strengths and challenge their weaknesses.

Lainey is currently finishing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Violin Performance under the study of renowned violinist, Michael Ferril at the Master’s University in Santa Clarita.
