Julian “Keyz” Thomas, a Chicago native, was introduced to music at the age of eight. Julian wanted to keep focused and creative, so he was introduced to the piano and began taking lessons. Within a short while, vocal and dance lessons were added to his arsenal. By age 11, he took his dance skills to task and started performing at the United Center as one of the original “Bulls Kidz” dancers with an audience of over 20,000 Chicago Bulls fans. By age 13, the local press had dubbed him a “Real Showman” and his command of the piano had gained him the moniker of “Keyz.” When Julian was 14, he was tapped as the only performer invited to entertain supporters for presidential candidate Barack Obama at a voters rally in Illinois and was invited back for political celebration with the re-election. To date, he has had the opportunity to perform at events all across the United States in the presence of crowds ranging from hundreds to thousands and has been seen by millions of television viewers.
